My name is Rorie, I am a music producer, bassist and vocalist based in Auckland, New Zealand. I play bass and will possibly be doing vocals for the band I'm in but I do play bass for them. We're currently in the production process for our second demo [the first one never released and was never finished].
We're actually recording from home, our Drummer [Ethan Bell] is a Dubstep/DnB producer so he has a decent computer. We all have limited equipment so we can only do so much. I don't even have a good enough bass to record on and we don't have drum mics, so we're using a digital drum kit and digital bass for all the recording on the demo. All the guitar is recorded on a real guitar. *shock* teehee :P
The kinds of music I produce are; Dubstep, Ambient, Electro/Club and Techno. I have been producing for little over a year and am still a novice, but then again limited equipment can hinder ones growth. I've been trying to get a job for a while so I can get a new computer. I seriously need a new one, the one I currently have is running under 200mb of ram... It's ridiculous.
My music writing and knowledge of the theory is constantly changing. I want to make music to share with people. Not to be famous/popular, although it would be nice. XD
